About Ice Skating Tunbridge Wells
A favourite holiday destination, ice skating Tunbridge Wells at Royal offers attractive choices for skaters, shoppers and spectators this season.
I booked in advance for a Saturday lunchtime. I thought it was quite expensive and the ice conditions were very wet, so if you’ve never been there be prepared to be very wet when you fall! We took our five-year-old daughter; we had to pay an extra £4 for a great seal for little ones. They can sit on it, and if they are a little more confident, they can hold on to the seal. I could have done without one, but sadly there is a 1.3m height limit. There is plenty of food and drink to buy around the track. Overall it was a different place to take our little girl, and she enjoyed it.
From November 19 to January 3, Calverley Grounds transforms into a beautiful winter ice rink marking the start of the festive season, where you can skate, feast on food and drink, listen to music and experience dinner.
A huge park with many things to do, you can enjoy your coffee in the morning, take a walk or have a relaxing day—an excellent outdoor park with plenty of places to sit and relax. You can see the wonderful views of London or exercise in the outdoor gym. There’s also a cafe, playground and toilets on the premises.
Whether day or night, visitors can skate in the magnificent splendour of the Calverley Grounds Amphitheater, bathed in twinkling festive lights. It is perfect for a family day out, a romantic first date, a festive office party, or just a great night out with friends.
