Students, faculty, staff, and visitors accessing campus and attending activities in person should assess their health through Health Screener CPS and check for signs of illness before coming to campus. There is a wide range of screening tests, from Covid-19 screening to mental illness screening, all of which areee accessed through a health worker.

Chicago Public Schools has released many new safety protocols for a safe and clean learning environment due to Covid-19. These protocols are not just for your students but staff as well. The CPS selection process includes tests, safety practices, tips, and instructions. First of all, we bring here tips for self-examination.
Students, staff and visitors must complete the daily health check before arriving at a school that has chosen to use the online registration process. Check the self-screen before arriving at another school.
Daily Instructions for the Health Examination
Some CPS schools have chosen to use an online form called the Daily Health Screener to verify that students, staff and visitors are in good health before entering the building. If your school has elected to use the Daily Health Screener, please complete the registration process via the link below for each person visiting the school building.

Parents and Guardians must submit
- A quarterly certificate in which they agree to carry out a daily health check on their student before sending them to school. The certificate will ask parents and guardians to:
- Agree to screen your child for possible symptoms or exposure to COVID-19 at home each day before school
- Make sure that your child will not be sent to school if they answer “yes” to any of the CPS health screening questions
- Inform your child’s school if he is absent from in-person class because he is sick or has been bare to a confirmed case of COVID.
- *For the first trimester, all families must sign and return the certification forms to the school by September 2, 2021.
